25 August 2006, Friday

Yay, it's FRIDAY!!
YES! Today is Friday!!!! It not only marks the end of the working week, but it also marks the 5th month together with Feng. Going for a dinner tonight, and I'm off to bed. Had a cold today; feeling hot on the outside and cold on the inside. Kept sneezing. And I'm so darn sleepy. *Yawn* Been drinking coffee these few days. Slept late everyday ever since Sunday when I went Malaysia with my collegues. I bought a game for my GBA, Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town. It's so addictive! It addicted the whole of T11H females 7 years back, and 7 years later I'm still addicted to this game. It's so much nicer now! Haha. I better stock up on my batteries. Speaking of batteries, Thomas told me he wana give me! I need to bring lotsa batteries to HK. Else I'll be bored to death there. Gonna buy a suitcase and some formal clothings. Sianz. But excited at the same time. I'm going overseas to work! Haha! Although 8 days nia, but then........it's exciting!

Missed school
TP sent me the Engineerus mag to me the other day. I saw the mag lying on my bed this morning and I realised how much I missed school. I missed walking to DBCU to find Sue and HL, lying on their couch and having their supervisor stare at me. I missed going to Cleanroom, donning the suit and giving those newbies a haughty look. Still remembered HY and ZW wanted to go in cleanroom, and happened that some lecturer (can't rem his name, think it's Dr Prem) was bringing his class to cleanroom for the first time. So after donning the clothes, Zhiwei and HY wanted to go in. Because we're the seniors, and lazy, both of them let the clothes drag on the floor and such and was taught by Dr Prem on how to don clothes. That is until both of them went in and started on our project, Dr Prem then realised both of them are not his students.
Who can forget the time during SIP when we always go Dexian's house to play blackjack instead of staying in school to work on our projects? And who can forget, especially, the times when we volunteer as mentors for orientations? Those were the times man. It really takes an orientation to make you part of TP Engine. That is also the only time where you'll be proud of your course, your peers and your school. The cheers, the screaming, the running? And the times where we make ourselves into clowns. And CCN day!! Whole school is bustling with energy! Where lecturers compete with students to earn money for needy students.
Who can also forget dragging our feet to class, not doing tutorials, going to lectures to eat and chit chat, skipping class to slack or go out, going lab only to leave 30 min later? I can never forget the times I get into trouble with the lab assistants till I was almost slapped with a warning letter during my SIP. The times that I broke wafers after wafers, and taking booties and goggles from my lab to claim as my own? Those were the times. Most of all, this may sound crazy, but I missed my lecturers. I missed Mr Wong, my course manager. He's naggy, but I missed his nagging; I missed Mr Kee Wee, who has nothing to talk to me about; Mr Andrew Tham, who's always NATO; Mr Lum Moon Kiong, my supervisor, someone whom I love to hate at that time, but deep down I know he cares for us; Dr Tanusri, missed her smile and her naggings; Mdm Yee Meishan, for her kiasi ways; Mdm Toh Leenah, for her love and care towards me, even though her husband sucks to the core; Mrs Hee-Peh Bee Choo, who's always asking me to join Student Ambassador; Mr Fred Chong, who's always asking me to update the notice board when it's not within my job scope; Ms Carina, who's always giving a black face but is a very nice lady deep inside...she actually groomed me on my graduation day! She folded down my collars and help adjusted my jacket. This is the very same lady that loves giving warning letters to SIP students. I missed Michelle and Angeline, who's always the one to greet me in the morning during SIP and always approving my LOA during the period. I missed Lily, whom I've affectionately called Auntie, and whom always call me when she has a tuition offer. I missed all the technicians over at Micro-electronics CU, all who had scolded me, chased after me and cleared my shits without complaints. I missed rushing for class in the mornings, especially for a 8am lesson. I missed going for smoking breaks with my musketeers or John and Saleha. I missed school!!!!!!!! *Cries*
