Funny thing? We're not experts in anything yet we act as if we are. We're not at the top yet we act as if we're the only one at the top. We cannot wait for a little while to be served and expect tip top services and be treated like kings and queens, yet we're willing to queue up overnight to buy Hello Kitties.
Most Chinese in Singapore are able to speak, write and read Chinese, yet China people are actually surprised we can read and write Chinese.
We're mostly bilingual and English is our 1st language, yet some foreigners can't understand the English we speak because it is not perfect English. Yup, think our OWN language is called Singlish.
